3.4 WELDING USING THE TIG PROCEDURE WITH MANUAL GAS CONTROL
TIG welding can be performed with this equipment using scratch starts, even it doesn't include
a specific TIG mode. In TIG welding we must only use straight polarity, placing the welding torch
in the negative pole. Additionally, a gas cylinder (M), normally Argon, should be located at the
installation, which we will connect to the torch through a pressure regulator valve (N), as
indicated in figure below.
USING HIGH FREQUENCY AND HIGH TENSION STRIKING DEVICES CAN DAMAGE THE
TIG WELDING WITH MANUAL GAS CONTROL.
