Finely Adjusting Zero

The zero can be re-adjusted subsequently. The zero can be adjusted by ±2 mm.
If necessary, note the adjustment value in order to be able to re-set the basic setting.

1. Undo the clamping screw (3) of the centre column (1).
2. Turn the fine adjustment sleeve (2) clockwise.
ð The spindle nuts (4) move to the right.
ð To move to the left, turn the fine adjustment sleeve (2) counter-clockwise.
3. The small lines represent 2/100 mm, the large lines 1/10 mm.
4. Tighten the clamping screw (3) of the centre column (1) (tightening torque 4 Nm).
