1 Notes on use English
The AS-Interface single valve module type ASI-EVA... has
been designed for controlling pneumatic actuators and is
intended only for use in bus systems in accordance with
the AS-Interface specifications. In conjunction with addi-
tional commercially available components, such as sen-
sors and actuators, the specified limits for pressures, tem-
peratures, electrical data, torques etc. must be observed.
AS-Interface bus systems and single valve modules may
only be installed by technicians trained for this purpose.
Detailed specifications on designing and addressing your
bus system can be found in the manual for your AS-Inter-
face master.
Warning
Functional damage.
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs.
S Switch on the power supply only if the DIL switch is
set to a permitted setting. Only the DIL switch set-
tings listed under section 3.7 are permitted.
S Modify the DIL switch setting only when the power
supply is switched off.

Commission only a completely fitted and wired single
valve module.
