Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the earth connection (M3) with low impe-
dance to the earth potential.
2. Press the AS-Interface cable into the upper part of the
cable socket.
3. Make sure that the AS-Interface cable is free of ten-
sion.
4. Place the cable socket in position and screw it tight
(max. 0.3 Nm).
Recommendation: For connecting the AS-Interface cable
use the Festo cable sockets ASI-SD-FK or ASI-SD-FK180.
In this way you will comply with protection class IP65.

Pin 2 = + 24 V *)
*) Connection only if the load voltage supply is configured accord-
ingly (see 3.7). Seal non-used connections with the blanking plug
type ASI-SD-FK-BL.
Caution
Functional damage.
S Do not disconnect power supplies under load.
