3.2 Assigning the AS-Interface address
Recommendation: Use the Festo addressing device type
ASI-PRG-ADR with adapter cable type KASI-ADR.
Before connecting an AS-Interface slave to the bus:
assign an unused AS-Interface address to each AS-In-

terface slave. set the desired address with the AS-In-
terface addressing device.
– Permitted address range: 01...31
(factory setting: 00)
– ID code = F
(see type plate)
– It is not necessary to parametrize the AS-Interface
slave.
