Do not disassemble, open or shred the components or the batteries.
Do not expose the components or batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
Do not short-circuit a component or battery.
Do not subject the batteries to mechanical shocks.
In the event of a leak from a component, ensure that no liquid comes into contact with the skin or eyes. If this should happen,
wash the area affected with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Do not use any charger other than the one specifically intended for use with the appliance.
Respect the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the component, battery and appliance and ensure correct use.
Do not use components or batteries which are not designed to be used with the appliance.
Always purchase the battery recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
Keep all components and batteries clean and dry.
The components and batteries must be charged before use. Always use the appropriate charger and refer to the manufacturer's
instructions or the appliance manual with regard to the correct charging instructions.
Do not leave a battery to charge for a long period when not in use.
After prolonged storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the components or batteries several times in order to
obtain maximum performance.
Keep all the original documentation relating to the product for subsequent reference.
Only use the component or battery in the application for which it is intended.
Dispose of in an appropriate manner.

2. INSTALLATION

These instructions are mandatory for the motorisation and home automation professional installing the motorisation.

 Never drop, knock, drill or submerge the battery.

Do not dispose of the battery by burning. Risk of explosion
Before installation or commissioning, charge the battery fully using the Somfy-compatible external battery charger.
