SPK-EQ (Speaker-EQ)
This screen handles the controls for a basic equalizer (Classic, Jazz,
Rock, Pop and Vocal), setting speaker size, connection, a sound control
for P/L audio (ProLogic) and a delay adjustment for the Center and
Surround.
NOTE: For setting speaker size and connection, see Setting Speaker
Connection on page 11.
1. Press and hold the SET-UP (S) button to enter into the menu
screen.
2. Use the joystick on the remote to select SPK-EQ and press the
joystick (ENT) to enter into the Audio Adjustment screen.
3. Use the joystick to move around the selections in the Speaker
Adjustment screen. Press the joystick (ENT) to enter into specific
selection or to change a setting.
EQ
Use this EQ to set up a basic equalizer for
the system. If the Graphic EQ has bet set
and saved, this EQ will be -overridden.
Sound
This screen is used for setting the P/L
(ProLogic) default (P/L Auto, P/L All and
P/L 2) and for setting the Center and
Surround sound delays.
1. Press up or down on the joystick to
move through the selection. Press
left or right on the joystick to
change the settings.
2. Press the joystick (ENT) when adjustments are
completed to return to the previous screen.
The default is P/L Auto for the sound and 0 for the delays.
Center can be adjusted from 0 to a 5mS (millisecond) delay.
Surround can be adjusted from 0 to a 30mS (millisecond)
delay.

SELECTING A BAND

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through FM1, FM2, and AM.The
act of selecting the band automatically enables that band.
