IR Remote Special Features
NOTE: For accessing certain features or making various menu selections,
the IR Remote must be used.
17. PWR – Turns the source unit on and off.
18 Joystick Control (ENT) – Move highlight in menu selections. Press
to enter selections.
19 Joystick Control (Return - Toggle Left) – Use to exit or move back
through menus in set-up mode.
20. (Stop) – Stop disc play.
21. (Play) – Press to pause play, press again to resume play.
22. VOL (Volume) – Used to control volume level. "-" decreases the
volume level and "+" increases the volume level.
23. (Up-Slow) – Slow forward play speed to 2x, 4x or 8x by each
press of the button. Press the Play (
play.
24 (Fast Forward) – Press to select the next chapter. Press and
hold for Fast Forward.
25 (Fast Reverse) – Press to select the previous chapter. Press
and hold for Fast Reverse.
26. (Down-Slow) – Slow reverse play speed to 2x, 4x or 8x by
each press of the button. Press the Play (
normal play.
27. OPEN/EJ – Opens and closes the video screen. Press and hold to
eject disc in CD mode.
28. NUMERIC BUTTONS – Used for entering password numbers in
parental control and during chapter, title or time search function.
29. 2/RPT – Press once to repeat chapter, a second time to repeat title
and then once more to turn repeat off.
30. 4/MENU – Press to go to the menu selection on a disc.
31 5/A-B RPT – Press once for beginning of repeat duration, press again
for the end of repeat duration, the video will repeat for the selected
duration.
32. 8/SUBTITLE – Selects through subtitle options available on disc
currently playing.
33. 9/ANGLE – Selects through angle view options available on disc
currently playing.
34. 0/ZOOM – Press to zoom the picture by 1.5x, 2x or 3x by each
press of the button.When zoomed, use the joystick to move the
position shown on the screen. Press a fourth time to turn zoom off.
35. SEARCH / AS – Press to enter into a Search mode. By each press
you will select between chapter, title and time search. Press and hold
the numeric buttons to enter the number of the location to search to.

Basic Operation

NOTE: This system will not play DVD-R discs.
NOTE: For accessing certain features or making various menu selections,
the IR Remote must be used.
To Play a disc
1. Insert a DVD into the slot on the Front Panel, the disc will be pulled
into the unit and DISC LOADING will be displayed.
2. DISC PLAY will auto-select and the disc will begin playing usually up
to the main menu selection.
3. Use the joystick on the remote to move through menu selections.
Press ENT (joystick) on the remote or Enter (volume knob) on the
unit to make your selection.
