Balanced and Unbalanced Connections

The ControlSpace SP-24 sound processor features balanced XLR connections which can be modified at the cable for use with
®
unbalanced equipment. Although balanced connections are preferred, an unbalanced connection can be made by tying together
pins 1 and 3.

USB Connection

When using the SP-24 Editor software, connect the supplied USB cable from the SP-24 sound processor to a PC. The USB cable
should be used directly between the SP-24 sound processor and the computer.
Note: Use of docking stations or USB hubs is not recommended.

The following are the minimum system requirements for the SP-24 Editor software:
• Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 2 (or later)

• Intel Pentium 4 850 Mhz processor (or better)

• Minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 768
• 512 MB RAM
• 100 MB disk space available
• USB connection
