Operation

In case of any failure or malfunction, the equipment in
which the sensor is installed needs to be in a safe condition
(depressurized, empty, rinse, vent, etc.).

Maintenance: Cleaning the sensor head

Clean the sensor window when it is contaminated/fouling
is observed.
1. P lace the system or equipment in a safe state
(depressurized, empty, rinsed, vented or ventilated, etc.)
2. Disconnect electrical power
3. Dismount the sensor
4. C lean the sensor head using a soft, lint-free cloth and a
mild cleaning agent
5. Change the desiccants and seals (if necessary)
6. Install the sensor
Depending on the application, it is recommended to replace
the desiccants and seals every year. With special operating
condition / aggressive media, the desiccants and seals may
need to be changed at shorter intervals.

Disposal

It is the user's responsibility to dispose of the sensor in
a professional manner. The sensor contains electronic
components that require special disposal without any hazard
for humans, and with no risk of harm to the environment.
Please observe the applicable local or national regulations
concerning the disposal of "waste electrical and electronic
equipment".

Warranty

On manufacturing defects, 12 months after delivery.

Storage conditions

Inspect the instrument immediately after receiving for any
transport damage. The sensor should be stored in a dry,
clean and protected area until the time of installation. If the
sensor has been removed from the process, it should be
thoroughly cleaned and dried. It should be stored in a dry,
clean and protected area until time of installation.
