DHTP1 Amplifi ed Touch Pad Controller

Speaker Connections

The DH44/DH46X routes digital audio to connected
DHTP1 Touch Pads where the amplifi ed audio is then
sent to the in-room speakers. See Figure 3.6 for
details.
WARNING: The DHTP1's amplifi er is capable of
powering a single pair of 8-6 Ohm speakers. DO
NOT connect speakers with a rating less than 6
Ohms. DO NOT connect more than one speaker
to either Speaker Connector. In doing this
damage to the DHTP1 may occur and void the
product's warranty.
To connect speakers to DHTP1 Touch Pads:
1. Strip speaker wire back 1/4"
2. Loosen speaker terminal screws on DHTP1
3. Insert speaker wires into terminals making sure
to maintain +/- polarity
4. Tighten screws on speaker terminals
5. Connect the other end of the speaker wires to the
speakers, making sure to maintain correct
polarity
