9.2 Changing the cutter
The service life of the cutter is approx. 20,000 cuts. This is an approximate value and was determined during
experimental setup by means of a 1.0 mm steel wire (type SG 2). Deviation are possible in case of other
wire electrodes.
1 Unscrew the retaining plate with a lubricating nipple.
2 Unscrew and replace the cutters.
3 Screw on the retaining plate again.
4 Check the fixed jaws for wear; reverse or replace if necessary.
