REGULATION OF AUTOMATIC LIMIT SWITCH (PATENTED)
A - Verify that the switch is on INS
B - Close the shutter manually.
C - Ensure that cam C1 is resting on Seger S1 if it is not then move the lever of the cam C1 and turn the cam against Seger S1.
D - VERY IMPORTANT ! Remove Seger S1 (Hold Seger S1 for future adjustments).
E - Press the OPEN button. The shutter must open*. Keep the OPEN button pressed and then release when you have reached the desired opening
position (you can also come into contact with the mechanical opening run stop).
F - Press the CLOSE button and release it upon full closing.
* CAUTION: If the wires of the button pad - selector are inverted and
the motor closes instead of opening:
- Invert OPEN and CLOSE.
- Reinsert Seger S1
- Manually reposition the red cam C1 against Seger S1, by turning it
after having moved the red lever.
- Remove Seger S1 again.
- Repeat the procedure from point E.
After the shutter has completely closed, the final position of the cam
must appear as shown, with cam C1 resting against the seat of Seger S1
(previously removed) and with cam C2 positioned away from Seger S2.
Move the switch to DIS.
Now the micro-switches are activated to interrupt the power supply of the
motor when they are pressed alternatively by cams C1 and C2.
Carry out a full cycle to verify correct regulation.
VERY IMPORTANT ! Remove Seger S2
If the positions of ascent and descent that are set need further
modification, this can be done directly delicately using the levers of
cams C1 or C2 by turning the regulating wheels in the direction of the
corresponding Seger to anticipate the intervention of the micro-switch, or
in the opposite direction to delay the intervention of the micro-switch (2
teeth of the wheel = 1 cm of the rolling shutter movement).
Once the opening and closing positions have been set, make sure the
safety blocks are put in position on the appropriate cams.
In case the limit switch has to be re-programmed:
1 - Bring the shutter to closed position.
2 - Re-insert the S1 ans S2 C-clips on the worm screw.
3 - Manually turn the plastic rollers until they lean against the C-clips at
each end.
4 - Move the main switch to INS position.
5 - Repeat the adjustment procedure of limit switches.
