GENERAL RULES
Do not use a helmet that suffered severe blows even though the damage is not readily visible; if the helmet is
severely damaged it must be replaced.
The helmet object of this manual is a device for personal protection class II, or devices that are neither
of simple design nor of complex design, and for this reason was submitted to the procedure of CE
certification, Article 10 of the European directive 89 / 686 / CEE and further amendments directives
93/95 and 93/68 and 96/58 CEE.
The GT-R is fitted with an interchangeable visor. The GT visor is for personal protection class II (Directive 89/686),
certified by Italcert S.R.l. Italcert Viale Sarca, 336 -20126 Milan (MI) – Italy (notified body n. 0426) in accordance
with the requirements of regulation EN 166 relating to construction, in terms of optical properties, field of vision
and marking, and with regulation EN 1938 (limited to the requirement for signalling lights).
It is extremely dangerous to modify the helmet by sticking or gluing anything on it. Do not cut or punch the
helmet's shell, do not insert screws or paint it.
Do not change the internal lining of the helmet, particularly never cut or change the inside polystyrene padding:
changes to the shape of the internal polystyrene shell can affect the safety features of the helmet.
PERFORMANCES
The helmet has successfully undergone laboratory testing in accordance with the performance requirements
prescribed by the technical standards used for certification.
