Remove the charcoal container (4) and its cover (3)
and fill the charcoal container (4) with approx. 0.2 kg
charcoal up to the upper edge of the container.
For optimum cooking results you should use barbecue
charcoal and not charcoal briquettes.
Warning
Do not use any other fuel than charcoal.

Apply a 10 mm thick ring of fire gel around the centre
of the fire gel tray (5). The fire gel should be within the
circle stamped on the fire gel tray (5). Otherwise, the
flame will be smothered. Should the fire gel tray (5)
move out of place, insert it again into the centre of the
grease collection tray/reflector (6).
If you fill a little water (no higher than the MAX mark)
into the grease collection tray/reflector (6), not only
does it make it easier to clean the grease collection
tray/reflector (6) later, it also makes it harder for any
drops of fat to ignite.
