8.
Place the stainless steel grate (1) down again. Turn the

the latches (7). Lock the stainless steel grate (1).
Place the grilled food onto the stainless steel grate (1), as soon as the charcoal is
covered with a layer of ash. This normally takes 5 minutes at maximum fan speed.
If undesired flame formation occurs during charcoal glowing, reduce the air supply using
the control dial (9). To do this, turn it anti-clockwise.
Next, you can prepare grilled dishes using your charcoal barbecue. With a little practice, you can
regulate the fan speed and thus the heat using the control dial (9). This way, you can either grill your
dishes crispier or cook them gently.
9.
Once you are done grilling, switch the charcoal barbecue off. Turn the control dial (9) counter-
clockwise to the OFF position, until it engages.
10.
Remove the prepared dishes from the stainless steel grate (1).
Risk of burns!
After the fan is switched off, the charcoal can still be glowing for some time and the stainless
steel grate (1) can be very hot. Be careful not to burn yourself.
7.3 Tips for good grilling results
After firing up, leave the control dial (9) in the maximum position (clockwise until it stops) so that the
charcoal barbecue can heat up evenly. If unwanted flames appear during the charcoal warming up
phase, reduce the fan speed by turning the control dial (9). To do this, turn it counter-clockwise.
The unit allows low-fat, healthy cooking of meat, fish, sausages, poultry and vegetables. It may be
necessary to cut large or thick pieces of meat into smaller pieces or thinner slices.
Do not pierce the meat so it does not lose liquid. Otherwise it can dry out.
