• During test operation, attach a water temperature gauge and flow rate adjustment valve to the water piping
to enable adjusting of the hot water flow rate while watching the water temperature gauge. Also, do not
touch the adjustment valve once adjustment is complete.
• Attach pipe support fittings to the DHW pipes at appropriate locations so that no excessive loads are
applied to the outdoor unit.
• Select the pump for DHW based on the water pressure loss characteristics shown in the table below.

Hot Water Pipe Cleaning and Air Bleeding
• Be sure to always perform cleaning of the pipe system for removing dust, cutting debris, and other objects
inside the pipes and removing flux debris inside the pipes which can cause deterioration of antifreeze
solution and generation of gel compounds.
CAUTION
Be sure to fully bleed the air. If any air remains in the pipes, water will not flow, and the pipes cannot be
cleaned.
Antifreeze Solution and Rust Prevention
CAUTION
• Failure to use antifreeze solution can cause damage to the surrounding devices and pipes due to freezing
and rust.
• Antifreeze solution is injected to preventing freezing of the circulating water of this system. Be sure to inject
pure antifreeze solution for preventing rust and freezing.
• Set this antifreeze solution to a concentration of 35% to 55% for fully realizing the solution's freezing
prevention and rust prevention effects. Dilute using tap water (treated water) that meets the water quality
standards.
• Use a concentration for the antifreeze solution that is 10°C lower than the annual minimum outdoor
temperature.

6. AFTER INSTALLATION IS COMPLETED

 Record the actual length of refrigerant tubing and the amount of refrigerant charge.
With the GHP outdoor unit, the "label for showing the actual length of refrigerant tubing and the amount
of refrigerant charged" is provided. Enter the details in the designated spaces, and apply the label to the
inside of the electrical box panel, at the top.
This will be needed for subsequent maintenance.
Be sure to enter this information and apply the label.
