Installation and regulation of power tool
elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Removal / installation of protective casing (see
fig.1)
• Turn protective casing 2 and remove it as shown on
fig. 1 (this may be necessary for performing works in
confined spaces).
• While installing protective casing 2 match the raised
elements inside the casing with the slots in housing 3,
put the casing on and turn as shown on fig. 1.
Using special nozzles (see fig. 2)
Put a special nozzle on nozzle 1 and turn, it if neces-
sary, to adjust it to a position more suitable for work
(see fig. 2). Notice that a special nozzle must be put on
evenly so that it will not fall off during operation
Initial operating of the power tool
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power
supply voltage must match the information quoted on
the power tool identification plate.
Switching the power tool on / off
Switching on:
Move on / off switch 5 in position "1" or "2"
Switching off:
Move on / off switch 5 in position "0"
Design features of the power tool
Temperature adjustment

buttons 14 and 17 The set value of the temperature is
shown on display 12 (symbol 21)
Air flow adjustment
The air flow can be changed stepwise with buttons 15
and 16. The set value of the air flow is shown on dis-

Operating modes with preset parameters
You can save 4 user operating modes (temperature +
air flow).
Cool air blowing
If on / off switch 5 is placed in position "1", the heating
element is not activated, and only the fan is running
This mode is intended for cooling the power tool after
operation, and it also can be used for cooling, blowing
and drying
Possibility of steady-state use (see fig. 8)
The power tool design allows steady-state operation
Switch the power tool on, set the desired temperature
and then put it in a vertical position with the nozzle up
(see fig. 8).
Protection against overheating
The power tool is equipped with a complex protection
against overheating which prevents damage to the
power tool when normal operating temperature is
exceeded
