FUNCTION
Always immersed, it insures continuous sea water feeding of the unit. Not included in the supplies.
Situated near the hull fitting, insures shutting of sea water feeding. Not included in the supplies.
Insures feeding of the unit through the filter (2).
Manual 3-way valve insuring feeding of the unit, either with sea water in normal operating, or with the
water or chemical solution contained in a bucket during rinsing or cleaning of the membranes.
Contains an element insuring sea water filtering at 5µ.
Driven by an electric motor, it raises sea water pressure to the required value.
Automatically stops the unit in case of overpressure in the system.
Made up of pressure-resistant vessels, containing the membranes in which the desalination of sea
water is carried out.
Indicates the pressure in the R/O membranes.
Insures adjustment of the pressure in the membranes, conforming to instructions given in Chap.2.
By opening this valve, the valve (1) itself being turning to rinsing position, the unit can be operated in
closed circuit on a bucket containing cleaning solutions. See Chap. 88.
Continuously measures the salinity of the produced water, and controls the valve (10) according to
this measure.
Electromagnetic 3-way valve controlled by the salinometer. It automatically directs the produced
water towards the tank (piping F) if the salinity is correct, or towards discharge to the sea, if it isn't.
Closed for maintenances operations only. It must always been opened.
Collects the concentrated brine produced by the membranes for discharge to the sea.
Situated above the water line, insures brine discharge to the sea. Not included in the supplies.
Insure feeding of the unit with the water or chemical solutions contained in an auxiliary bucket, during
the membranes rinsing and cleaning operations.
Direct the unit discharge towards the auxiliary bucket, thus insuring membranes cleaning in closed
circuit.
Feed the filter under positive pressure and sufficient flow.
FUNCTION
Starting up of the unit and indication with an integrated signal lamp.
Stopping of the unit.
Shows the quality level of the produced water with four LEDS (green, green, orange, red).
Green LED indicating that the reject valve is in « production » position.
Measures the salinity of the produced water with a cell ; shows the measure with the LED indicator
(32) and controls the reject valve (10).
Insures the connection between the different electrical control components.
Protection of the electric box.
Connection of the electrical wiring on the box.
Connection of the power electric box on the unit. Length 2m.
Supply of 24VAC current to the control box.
Protection of the electric motor, in case of overload.
Feeds the electric motor. Controlled by the ON and OFF switches.
