This assembly manual applies to Fryline und Fry Star (FSP) deep fat fryers models built after
11.2009.

Safety instructions

The assembly manual is intended only for electricians and technicians!
The work shown in this assembly manual may only be carried out by authorised expert assem­
bly personnel!
Pay attention to the weight of the installation modules! Several people may be required for in­
stallation depending on the installation module.
Installation work must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's assembly instruc­
tions and in accordance with accepted technical regulations.
The deep fat fryer modules must not be installed in combustible work tops or appliance hou­
sings, or placed against combustible walls.
The cut outs for the installation module and control panel must be arranged centrally to each
other, when seen from the front.
Electrical connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician
- in accordance with the applicable VDE 100 directives
- and the rules of the power supply company concerned.
Once installed, the device must be encased in such a way that users cannot come into contact
with live components and cable connections!
The appliance must be isolated from the mains before it is opened!
However, if the device has to be started up while open, please observe the following warnings:
WARNING! Danger of injury through electric shocks!
Protect live components from being accidentally touched, e.g. by covering them with an insu­
lating mat!
WARNING! Crush hazard!
Moving parts, e.g. when performing function tests!
CAUTION! Danger of damage to components!
Do not put any electrically conductive objects onto the boards!
The boards must not be subjected to static energy discharges!
