4.- Connecting the chimney
The vertical run of the chimney
must avoid elbow joints and long
horizontal sections, as they make
draught difficult and favour the
formation of creosote and soot.
It is extremely important to seal
attachment ring – elbow joint –
connections using refractory filler,
plaster or any other suitable
material
to
prevent
entering the area.
The joints of the tubes forming the
chimney, in the event of using
metal tubes, must be sealed
during fitting, with the narrower
ends pointing
downwards.
This prevents the
creosote that is formed inside them reaching the outside.
This advice must be following whenever wood or coal fuel is used.
5.- Draw valve assembly
The draw valve control element can be found inside the instructions manual packet.
The following figures display the different positions that can be used based on the situation
of the side wall where the oven has been installed.
This will enable users to place the draw valve control in the most functional and suitable
position on the said side wall.
In order to attach the valve control to the valve spindle, an M-5 nut and bolt have been
supplied and can be found on the said valve spindle.
