7.- Warning
Gas, wood or pellet fireplaces heat up when lit. As a result it is necessary to be
cautious and keep a certain distance away, especially children, old people, people
with special needs and pets while the fire is on.
Make sure that children and anyone else not used to the workings of a fireplace, are
supervised by an older person when near.
To avoid burns and also to protect vulnerable people it is advisable to use a fireguard
or screen. The use of heat resistant gloves are recommended when in contact with
the fireplace.
8.- For the opening handling and closing of the home door and of oven, a thermal insulating
mitten is given.
E.- DISTANCES FROM COMBUSTIBLE SURFACES
When installing the oven, observe the
necessary safety distances for the oven and
chimney
from
(wooden
or
papered
floors...).
If appropriate protection is used on the said
surfaces, the said safety distances can be
reduced.
Safety distances must be respected when
the lining on walls or nearby areas may be
damaged or deformed by temperature
(varnish, paint, PVC ...)
F.- UNPACKING
Inside the log tray (only in the case of models with lining) you will find two screws that
fix the lining to the palet. The said screws must be removed before installing.
G.- ADJUST THE LEVELLING PINS
Inside the log tray (only in the case of models with lining), you will find four levelling
pins, which will have to be adjusted if the device is placed on an uneven surface.
H.- ARANDA - DISASSEMBLE TO PASS THROUGH 70 CM DOORWAY.
If the oven has to be passed through a 70 cm doorway, the top section, doors and skirting
board must be removed. Fig. 20
1. Remove the top section; it is simply resting on the oven
2. Remove the Oven and Fireplace doors by simply moving them upwards. Fig. 21
3. Remove the skirting board (below) by removing the screws that hold it in place at the
sides. Slide each part of the skirting board back and then forward to separate them from
the oven.
4. Once in the room where the Oven is to be installed, place the skirting board, the doors
and the top section once again.
