The test input must be active if for example software is to be loaded to the controller
(pin 24 to VBB
, 10...32 V DC).

Safety-related outputs (MODE byte OUT_Safety) cannot be used with an active test
input. To have them available again the test input must be deactivated and a reset must
be carried out.
(Reset = power off/on of the controller)
While the machine is in operation the test input must be connected to GND.
