Incorrect connections can irrevocably damage the electronic circuit.
It is recommended to use a separate power line, in order to avoid possible electromagnetic interference that can create
unwanted alterations on the electro-domestic appliances of the installation.
If electromagnetic disturbances occur it is advisable to apply a line and/or output filter.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (Fig.1a, Fig.2a, Fig.5a and Fig.6a)
ONLY FOR VSD 6 M/T AND VSD 10 M/T
Use H07RN-F type cables with cross-section suitable for the power installed:
○ Power supply: minimum 3G1.5 mm
○ Motor connection: minimum 4G1 mm according to its length (see Fig. 2a).
For installation use the cables supplied or if necessary, remove the cover of the electronic card and perform the
connections according to the instructions on the base of the connection terminal blocks (see Fig. 1a).
Connect the main power supply (ensure there is an effective earthing device) to L1 N using a circuit breaker that is
appropriate to the installed power in disconnection status (OFF).
The earthing wire must be longer than the other phase conductors and must be the first to be connected during the
installation and the last one to be disconnected during dismantling
Connect the pump (Fig. 1a). Connect the minimum level control (optional). The device has an inlet that disables all the
pumps as soon as it receives the signal from an external minimum level detector. For its connection see Fig. 5a.
Connect two devices (optional): for the communication of 2 devices use a cable type 4x0.25 mm2 which must be
introduced in the PG cable-pass located at the bottom of the device lid Fig.2a. See instructions Fig. 6a.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (Fig.1b and 1c, Fig.1c, Fig.2b and 2c, Fig.5b and 5c, Fig.6b and 6c)
ONLY FOR VSD T/T AND VSD 14 T/T
Use shielded cables type H05VV-F with section adequate for the installed power:
○ Power supply: minimum 4G1.5 (max.4G4)
○ Motor connection: 4G1,5(max.4G4) according to its length (see Fig. 2b and 2 c).
For installation use the cables supplied or if necessary, remove the cover of the electronic card and perform the
connections according to the instructions on the base of the connection terminal blocks (see Fig.1b and 1c).
Connect the main power supply (ensure there is an effective earthing device) L1 L2 L3
appropriate to the installed power in disconnection status (OFF).
The earth wire must be longer than the phase conductors and must be the first to be connected during the installation and
the last to be disconnected during dismantling.
Connect pump (Fig.1b and Fig.1c).
Connect the minimum level control (optional the device has an inlet that disables all the pumps as soon as it receives the
signal from an external minimum level detector. For its connection see Fig.5b and Fig.5c.
Connect the switched potential free contact for monitoring alarms that have been triggered due to irregularities or
problems with the system that are indicated on the screen. Its use is optional (max. 18V). see Fig. 5c only for VSD 14 T/T.
Connect two devices (optional): for the communication of 2 devices use a cable type 4 x 0.25 mm2 that will be
introduced via the PG cable-pass located on the rear of the device body. See instructions Fig. 6b and 6c
The shielding of the shielded motor power supply cable must be connected to the earthing of the motor and the shielding
of the mains cable must be connected to the earthing of the electric power supply. See Fig. 2b and 2c.
