Instructions For Use Protective-tube lights

General
Designated use:
Intended purpose:
This light was developed specially
for use on machines and for out-
door use. It is protected against
the ingress of liquids (for protection
type, see rating plate).
Different lamps and/or ballast units
are used, depending on the light.
Place of use:
Only suited for rooms not subject
to explosion hazards.
The ambient temperature of the
light must not exceed 25°C. Dif-
ferent ambient temperatures are
specified on the rating plate of
the light.
Operating mode:
The light is designed for continuous
operation.

Safety instructions:
The light may only be operated in
rooms not subject to explosion
hazards!
The light must be mounted on the
selected wall by means of suit-
able pipe clamps or directly on the
side part (with side part type B).
Mounting and connection of the
light must be carried out only by a
trained electrician!
For lights of international
protection class I, the pro-
tective earth conductor must be
connected to the terminal of the
light chassis.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damage caused if
the device is used for purposes other than the intended one
or if safety instructions and warnings are ignored.

Please note:
These universal instructions for use
can not describe the full range of
all technical models of Waldmann
protective tube lights. Since only
skilled and qualified electricians are
permitted to carry out the installa-
tion and connection of the lamps,
any divergences that may arise on
site should present no difficulty
to handle.
