Maintenance and repairs
Disconnect the light from the
mains before carrying out any
maintenance or repair work! This
work may only be carried out by a
trained electrician.
Only parts approved by the manu-
facturer may be used as spare
parts.
Important! Clean the seals after
you have detached and reattached
the lateral parts.
Replacing the lamp
Attention! Disconnect the light
from the mains before removing
the light tube!
Remove the light tube by loosen-
ing the side part on the connection
side (see figs. 2a - 2c). If neces-
sary, the parabolic grid has to be
removed, too.
Lamp type T...
Hold the lamp on both ends at the
same time and turn by approx. 90°
(until the contact pins can be seen
in the slot of the lamp socket) [A1].
Take the lamp out towards the
top [A2].

To insert the lamp, first introduce
it into the socket slots on one side
and then into the slots on the other
side. Turn the lamp in the socket
by 90°.
Lamp type TC...
Pull the compact LS lamp horizon-
tally out of the socket.
To insert the lamp, introduce it into
the socket as far as possible.
Lamp socket with lock
Push the red button on the socket
[a] and remove the lamp towards
the top [b].

Replacing the starter
(applies only to lights equipped
with a conventional ballast unit).
Turn the starter by about 60°
counterclockwise [B1] and remove
it [B2]. Insert the new starter and
turn it by 60° clockwise until it
engages.
