WARNING: Carry out the installation in a "workmanlike" manner, strictly following the installation instructions and using
suitable tools. Always consult your local building department for code requirements that must be respected depending
on its destination of use (private, secondary, public...).
Before starting with assembly, unpack all the parts of the staircase. Arrange them on a large surface and check the
number of parts against the parts list.
1. Carefully measure the floor-to-floor height.
2. Calculate the rise:
1) Subtract 22 from the floor-to-floor height measured.
2) Divide this value by the number of rises minus one.
Example: for a measured floor-to-floor height of 268cm and a staircase with 12 rises: (268 – 22) / (12 – 1) =
22,36.
3. Determine the position where to fix the support N19 (Fig. 1) considering two points:
1) The previously calculated rise should include the thickness of the tread L71 (Fig. 2).
2) The support N19 should be positioned considering the type of opening (Fig. 3).
4. Drill using a 14mm Ø bit.
5. Assemble the supports N19, N18, N17 and N16 in a straight configuration on the floor, taking the rise calculated
before into account. Use parts C15, B71 and B75 (Fig. 1). Tighten sufficiently, considering that the supports
N19, N18, N17 and N16 still need to be able to rotate for configurations B, C and D.
6. Raise and position the structure keeping the support N19 in contact with the floor (Fig. 4). We recommend
rotating a few supports if the stairwell is narrow.
7. Finally secure the support N19 using part F20 (Fig. 1).
8. In succession, position a left tread (L71) followed by a right tread (L71) and so forth on the floor. Now, determine
the starting tread from the top.
9. Drill the treads L71 for fastening them to the supports using the cardboard templates provided together with the
instructions, alternating a right tread with a left tread (for drilling follow the diagram on the templates).
10. Finally fasten the treads L71 starting from the top until you reach the support N16 using parts C57 (Fig. 1).
11. 1. The straight configuration does not require further modifications.
2. The other configurations require a 13° (Fig. 5) rotation.
12. To rotate the supports by 13°, proceed as follows:
1) Using a pencil, draw two vertical lines at the point where two supports join at a distance of 9mm (0,35") to
rotate 13°.
2) Loosen parts C15, one support at a time, starting from the top and rotate until one line coincides with the
other.
3) Finally tighten parts C15 (Fig. 1).
Railing assembly
13. Cut the templates (Fig. A-1, B-2, C-3, D-4, E-5, F-6) and consult Drawing 1a - 1b.
14. Decide where the railing will be assembled (internal or external) and drill the treads L71 using a 6.5mm Ø bit.
To identify the fixing point on the short and long side of the curve treads L71, consider a distance equal to that
between the balusters C03 to be fitted on the straight section (Fig. 3).
15. Assemble and secure parts F23 using parts C14, B83, C49, C13, B02 (Fig. 1).
16. Assemble parts C63 on the balusters C03 using parts C65, C66 and C64 (Fig. 1).
17. Insert the balusters C03 into parts F23 locking them with part B02.
18. The first balusters C03 of the long side of each tread L71 must be cut in height.
19. Assemble the handrail A22 starting from the top using parts B33 and D72.
20. Complete railing assembly by inserting parts B82 into the lower part of the balusters C03.
Final assembly
21. Check the verticality of the entire staircase and, if necessary, correct by moving the support N16 (Fig. 1).
22. Remove the first tread L71 and using a 14mm Ø bit drill the floor in correspondence to the holes in the support
N16 (Fig. 1).
23. Fit part F20 and finally tighten (Fig. 1).
24. Refit the first tread L71 and fasten part F01 on the floor in correspondence to the first baluster C03, drilling with
an 8mm Ø bit. Use parts B11, B12, B83 and B02 (Fig. 1).
25. Fit the baluster C03 and tighten part B02 (Fig. 1).
