Lubricating the spindle and spindle nut:
1. Please note the lubricating intervals: after every 35 km.
Lubricate more frequently in the case of positioning paths < 50 mm.
2. Unscrew the plug screw from the lubricating hole (see Fig. 1).
3. Move the slide into the lubricating position on the side of the motor until the
lubricating nipple is accessible through the lubricating hole.
4. Lubricate the DMES−... via the lubricating nipple (grease press, nozzle and
lubricating grease: see Accessories").
5. Move the slide along the complete positioning path in order to distribute the
grease evenly.
Lubricating the linear roller bearing of types DMES−...−KF:
Under normal conditions of use the roller bearings do not need to be relubri
cated (lubricating interval every 5000 km).
Lubricate the roller bearings however in the
S
case of:
dusty and dirty environments
rated strokes < 50 mm
if the DMES is more than > 3 years old.
Grease the slide bearings at all four lubrication nipples (SN).

Whilst lubricating, move the slide along the complete positioning path in order

to distribute the grease evenly in the interior.

Repairs
Recommendation: Return the DGEA−... to our repair service for overhaul.

The repair procedure requires settings with very fine adjustments.
