Safety Warnings
for Using Blower
• Safety is a combination of common sense, alert mind and knowledge about how the tool works.
CAUTION
• Read the manual carefully before you start using the tool. Pay close attention to safety rules, alert symbols
and danger, warning and attention labels. Also read all the stickers on the tool.
Fuel Handling
• Never smoke where there is fuel present or the filling up
area or where the oil mix is prepared or while operating
the tool.
• To reduce the risk of fire or burns handle fuel with
care. It is extremely flammable.
• Prevent that gasoline or oil make contact with your skin.
• Protect your eyes to prevent gasoline or oil spills. If there
is any type of accidental contact rinse immediately with
clear water. If there is irritation see your physician.
• Mix and store fuel in a designated container.
WARNING
• Mix fuel outdoors away from fire or
sparks.
• Before re-fueling the tool stop the turn off the motor, set
it on clear ground and wait for the motor to cool down.
CAUTION
• Before operating the machine clean
any amount of fuel that might have dripped onto the tool.
• Check for fuel leaks. If any, fix the

leaks before using the tool to prevent fire, injury or burns.
• Set the tool away at least 30 feet away from the filling up
place before starting the motor.
• For no reason at all burn spilled fuel to get rid of it.
• For no reason at all use any fuel different from the one
specified in this manual for the tool.
Before Operating the Blower
• Never run the tool when tired, sick or
DANGER
under the effects of drugs, alcohol or prescription
medicine.
• Wear adequate clothes to operate the tool: tight clothes,
thick trousers non-skid safety boots, heavy-duty protecting
gloves and safety eyeglasses with side protection under
ANSI Z87.1 Standard.
WARNING
• Remove any accessory or loose
clothes that could get caught inside the motor. Fix long
hair so that it stays at shoulder level.
• Double check the tool is in perfect conditions. Do not
start the machine if misadjusted or not fully assembled
preventing it to work properly, or if the fuel tank shows
leaks or loose screws.
• Make sure the tool is clean, dry and free of oil or fuel.
• Double check the work area is open and well ventilated.
• In extreme weather check, there is no ice or
condensation in the tool.
• Make sure visibility and light conditions are adequate to
clearly watch the job. Otherwise do not use the tool.
When Operating the Blower
• Make sure the pipes are not pointing towards people or
animals before starting the motor.
WARNING
• Hold the blower correctly and keep
both feet firmly supported on the ground.
• Keep your full body away from the muffler. Otherwise it
can produce severe burns.
• Keep the tool away from flammable material.
• Do not carry out adjustments to the tool with the motor
running.
• Stay alert to any type of hazards. The noise of the tool
could prevent you to notice dangerous situations.
After Operating the Blower
CAUTION
• Always carry the tool with the motor
off and the muffler away from your body. Before putting it
up into a vehicle empty the fuel tank.
WARNING
• Set the motor off before resting the
tool. DO NOT leave the motor running unattended.
Allow it to cool down before storing the tool.
CAUTION
• Service and repairs to the tool shall
only be carried out by highly trained staff.
Assembly Recommendations
WARNING
• In the event that some parts are
missing do not start the tool until replacing them.
Otherwise the user may suffer severe personal injuries.
WARNING
• Do not try to modify the tool or
manufacture accessories not recommended for the tool.
Otherwise the user may be hurt making the warranty
void.
WARNING
• When gaining access to mobile parts
disconnect the spark plug cable in the motor to prevent
an accidental start up that causes severe injuries to the
user.
