INSTALLING THE PCO 1
2. 1
Install the pCO 1 on a DIN mount (inclu-
ded in the kit), if possible inside one of
the machines' electrical cabinets, and
in any case in a sheltered place. To fa-
sten, apply the device on the mount and
press lightly.
The tongues at the back will lock the
mount.
To remove, insert a screwdriver into
the tongues' release holes and lift.
The tongues are kept locked by return
springs.
2.2
POWER SUPPLY
When using alternated-current electri-
city, use the safety isolating transfor-
mer included in the kit. We recommend
connecting only the pCO 1 to the tran-
sformer.
Make the link to the transformer's
primary (230Vac) downstream of the
auxiliary thermomagnetic switch (ATS)
that is present all the machines' power
distribution boards, as shown in Fig. 2

PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

2.3
Installation
precautions
Do not install the Pco 1 boards in pla-
ces where the following conditions
may occur:
- relative humidity higher than 90%;
- strong vibrations or risk of impact;
- exposure to repeated jets of water;
- exposure to aggressive or polluting
atmospheres (e.g., sulphuric gases
or ammonia gases, salt sprays, fu-
mes) and consequential risk of corro-
sion and/or oxidation;
- strong magnetic and/or radiofre-
quency interference (do not install
close to transmitting aerials);
- exposure to direct sunlight and to
the elements in general;
- frequent and large fluctuations in
ambient temperature;
- presence of explosives or explosive
gas mixtures;
- exposure to dust (formation of a cor-
rosive patina with possible oxidation
and reduction of insulation);

Precautions
concerning connections
- Using a supply voltage different from
the prescribed voltage can seriously
damage the system;
- use terminal lugs that are suitable for
the terminals in use. To apply, loosen
the screws, insert the lugs and then
tighten the screws. Once finished,
pull the wires slightly to make sure
they are well fastened;
- to prevent electrostatic discharges,
which can be highly destructive for
electronic components, do not put
your fingers near the components on
the boards;
- if the power transformer's secon-
dary is earthed, make sure the earth
conductor is the same one that goes
to the controller and fastens to ter-
minal G0;
- to avoid damaging the pCO 1 , do not
press the screwdriver too hard when
fastening the cables to the termi-
nals.
NOTE
After inspecting and installing the
pCO 1 , set up the electrical connections
for the DUALCHILLER KIT.
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
We, the undersigned, hereby declare, under our
sole responsibility, that the machine under di-
scussion conforms with the rules contained in
the following Directives:
- Machinery Directive 89/392 CEE, as amended
by 91/368 CEE - 93/44 CEE - 93/68 CEE;
