Application

The Conel submersible pump series FLOWTP12-N is intended exclusively for private use for pumping
of clear water, rainwater and wastewater without faecal matter in private domestic applications with
solids up to a max. diameter of 12 mm and solids content up to max. 0.5%.
The pump may not be used to pump corrosive, flammable, gaseous or potentially explosive fluids,
or sewage containing faecal matter. Fluids containing sand or other substances reduce the service
life of the pump. Not intended for condensation from condensing boilers and brine from water
softening systems.
ATTENTION!
This product is only suitable for removing clear and dirty water up to a water temperature of 40 °C or
up to a maximum of 60 °C during short-term operation. If the system is fed water from machines such as
washing machines, then the maximum water temperature may be exceeded if the device is not equipped
with extraction cooling or if this is not switched on, e.g. in order to save energy. This may cause damage
to the pump or the pumping equipment; we cannot assume any guarantee or honour the warranty in this
case.
If necessary, contact the manufacturer of the device or the devices provided for connection (e.g. washing
machines) to obtain information on how to switch on extraction cooling. Our systems are checked in
accordance with EN 12050 LGA and conform to the current standards.
Also note that the maximum inlet temperature in the public sewer system is 35 °C and that you must
ensure that the water is cooled accordingly.
ATTENTION!
As with any electrical appliance, a failure of the pump can cause damage (for example in the case
of faulty operation due to a power failure or a technical defect). If this can result in consequential
damage an alternative system (for example emergency power supply, double pumping station,
network-independent alarm) must be available. If consequential damage occurs, the FLOW alarm
system (KBN: FLOWAGU) in conjunction with an alarm contact of your choice (e.g. FLOW broken
finger KBN: FLOWAKS5, FLOW float switch KBN: FLOWASS10, or FLOW humidity sensor KBN:
FLOWAFF5) and the 9V block battery (KBN: Q56722BV) for the mains-independent alarm must be
used to warn users of water leaks.
.
ATTENTION!
Leakage of lubricants could result in pollution of the medium being pumped.

Transport

Carry the pump by the carrying handle only, not by the electrical connecting cable or sensor cover.
Do not bump or drop it. When lowering the pump into deep sumps or pits, use a rope or chain.
