1 SQUELCH - 0-9
At the value 0, the squelch function is off. The higher the number,
the stronger the signal has to be to unmute the speaker for the
signal to be audible.
2 POWER - LOW/HIGH
Please note: with the TeCom-DB-C, only the LOW tx power is
available due to governmental regulations.
LOW: 0.5 W
HIGH: VHF (5 W) / UHF (4 W)
3 SCAN MD - CO / TO / SE
The available channel scan modes are:
TO : Time-Operated-Scan
The scan pauses for a certain time on an occupied channel and
then continues regardless if a signal is present or not.
CO : Carrier-Operated-Scan
The scan pauses as long as a signal is present. Once the
signal ceases, the scan will be continued.
SE : Search-Scan
The scan function stops on an occupied channel. The radio
remains on the first channel where a signal has been detected.
4 LAMP MD - AUTO / ON / OFF
The settings for the background light are:
AUTO : the LCD light is automatically turned on after pushing a key
ON
: the LCD light is constantly on
OFF
: the LCD light is constantly off
5 KEYLOCK - MANUAL / AUTOMAT
Once keylock is activated, only the PTT key (13), the emergency call
key (12) and the On/Off switch (2) are active. All other keys are
locked. The keylock mode is indicated by the key symbol, located in
the bottom right corner.
MANUAL
: activate/deactivate the keylock by pressing the
STD key [STD] (10).
AUTOMAT
: the keylock function is automatically activated,
30 seconds after the last entry. To deactivate the
automatic keylock mode, press the STD key [STD] (10).

6 TOT - OFF / 30 - 270 s in 30-seconds-steps
The Time-Out-Timer function restricts the transmission time in the
range of 30-270 seconds in 30-second-steps.
7 VOX LVL - OFF/ LEVEL 9
Setting of the VOX sensitivity. On level 1 (lowest sensitivity), the
signal has to be the strongest to start signal transmission.
