Replacing the Battery

Replacing a Connector Board
The memory module connector boards can be replaced by a customer. The spare connector
board (p/n 13438033) includes one connector board. When connectors have been damaged or
worn out by usage, a fault will occur in the copy process. If this happens repeatedly, it is time
to replace the connector board. Depending on usage, the user may wish to replace just one or
both connector boards. If a master is typically inserted for each copy made, then replace both
boards. If multiple copies are made from each master inserted, try replacing only the slave
connector board. If problems persist, replace the master connector board.

To replace a connector board, turn the Memory Module Copier over.

Pull the two recessed clips toward the center of the back cover and lift off back cover.

Remove the battery to prevent the MMC from inadvertently starting.
4.
Remove left and/or right connector board by pulling straight up. Do not twist or pull at
an angle. It may damage the connectors. Replace with new connector board.
5.
Put battery back in.
6.
Replace back cover. Make sure hinged clips click into place.
