INSTALACIÓN
MODO DE DISCADO
Encuentre el interruptor de MODO DE DISCADO en la parte posterior del teléfono. Deslice el interruptor a
la posición TONO a menos que tenga el servicio telefónico de discado por pulsos (rotativo) en su área. Si
este es el caso, deslice el interruptor a la posición PULSO.
CONTROL DEL TIMBRE
El interruptor CONTROL DEL TIMBRE, ubicado en la parte
timbre de ENCENDIDO (ON) a APAGADO (OFF). Podrá seguir realizando o recibiendo llamadas con el
timbre en posición APAGADO (OFF), pero no escuchará el timbre cuando reciba una llamada.
VOLUMEN DEL AURICULAR
El interruptor de CONTROL DEL VOLUMEN DEL AURICULAR, ubicado en la parte posterior del teléfono, le
permite ajustar el volumen del auricular en BAJO (posición LOW) y ALTO (posición HI).
CABLE DEL AURICULAR
Para ensamblarlo, inserte el extremo del cable del auricular en el CONECTOR PARA EL CABLE DEL
AURICULAR ubicado en la parte izquierda del teléfono.
INSTALACIÓN
CONECTOR DE PARED MODULAR
Para instalar el teléfono directamente sobre un conector de pared modular:
1. Conecte el cable de línea de 38 cm (15 pulg.) al conector CABLE DE LÍNEA en la parte posterior del
teléfono.
2. Doble el cable de línea e introdúzcalo en el canal ubicado en la parte posterior del teléfono.
3. Despegue la lámina protectora y pegue las almohadillas de goma en la parte posterior del teléfono en
las 4 esquinas.
4. Sostenga el teléfono cerca del conector modular y enchufe el cable de línea en este conector.
5. Introduzca el cable de línea sobrante en la ranura de la parte posterior del teléfono.
6. Alinee los orificios para montaje del teléfono con los montantes (cabezas de tornillos) en el conector
modular o en la pared.
7. Presione el teléfono sobre el conector de pared y tire suavemente hacia abajo.
PARED
Si no va a instalar el teléfono directamente sobre un conector de pared modular, haga lo siguiente:
1. Conecte el cable de línea de 2 m (7 pies) al conector CABLE DE LÍNEA en la parte posterior del teléfono.
Si el lugar donde desea colocar el teléfono está a más de 2 m de un conector de pared, deberá comprar
un cable de línea más largo (puede hacerlo en la mayoría de las ferreterías).
2. Coloque la PLANTILLA que se provee contra la pared en el lugar deseado.
3. Pase un bolígrafo o un lápiz a través de los puntos indicados en la plantilla para marcar la pared.
4. Si no hay un montante en ese lugar, será necesario instalar los soportes para pared que se proveen.
Perfore pequeños orificios piloto en los lugares marcados. Golpee suavemente los soportes para
insertarlos en los orificios. Luego inserte los tornillos pero NO LOS AJUSTE. Las cabezas de los tornillos
deben sobresalir unos 6 mm (¼ pulg.).
5. Si hay un montante en el lugar, simplemente instale los dos tornillos en el montante. RECUERDE: las
cabezas de los tornillos deben sobresalir.
6. Luego debe instalar el teléfono de acuerdo con el procedimiento detallado en INSTALACIÓN
SOBRE UN CONECTOR DE PARED MODULAR.
NOTA: si tiene problemas para sujetar el teléfono al tornillo o si el teléfono se mueve luego de haberlo
instalado, ajuste o afloje los tornillos para solucionar el problema.
MESA
1. Conecte el cable de línea de 2 m (7 pies) al conector CABLE DE LÍNEA en la parte posterior del teléfono.
2. Conecte el extremo libre del CABLE DE LÍNEA al conector modular telefónico más cercano.
REALIZAR Y RECIBIR LLAMADAS
Para obtener un tono de discado o atender una llamada entrante, levante el auricular.
Para finalizar, vuelva a colgar el auricular o simplemente presione el SOPORTE DEL AURICULAR.
VOLVER A MARCAR
El último número marcado se almacena automáticamente en el teléfono. Para volver a marcar el último
número, levante el auricular y presione el botón VOLVER A MARCAR (REDIAL) (devolución de monedas).

TROUBLESHOOTING
If you experience problems with your telephone, try the following suggestions:
NO DIAL TONE
1. Make sure that all plugs are connected properly. Check the connections at the wall jack, the telephone
body and the handset.
2. Try another modular jack within your home which you know to be working properly.
CALLS CANNOT BE DIALED OR DIALED SLOWLY
Check to make sure that the DIAL MODE switch is in the correct position for the type of service available
in your area.
TELEPHONE DOES NOT RING
Check that RINGER CONTROL switch is not set to OFF.
If there are several telephones connected to the same line, try disconnecting some of the other telephones.
Having too many telephones connected to the same line can cause low ringer volume or poor sound quality
during calls.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Avoid rough treatment to your telephone. Do not drop the handset and always replace it gently onto the
cradle.Clean only with a cloth slightly dampened with water only. Do not use detergents, waxes, solvents,
sprays, alcohols or excessive water.
PARTS INCLUDED
Your new telephone includes the following items:
1 - Telephone handset
1 - Handset coil cord
1 - Telephone body
1 - 7 Foot line cord
1 - 15 Inch line cord
TO INSTALL WALL ANCHORS
If the location you have chosen to mount your telephone
is a hollow wall without any beams you will have to use the
included wall anchors.
To install, place the template against the wall where you
wish to place your telephone. Mark the wall at the location
of the two + on the template by pushing a pen or pencil
through the template. Drill a 1/4" hole at each mark.
With a Phillips screwdriver, begin tightening the screw by
turning it clockwise. Stop turning when you feel firm
resistance.
Turn the screw counter clockwise until the screw head is
about 1/4" out of the wall.
Install the 7 foot line cord at back of the telephone . Adjust
the switches to your preference. Position the line cord
through the slot on the bottom of the cabinet. Line up the
holes with the two screws. Place the telephone onto these
two screws and gently pull down.
This may require a little fine tuning until the phone is seated
securely.
