Initial use / Mini spray gun initial use

Using the mini paint spray gun

Connect the hose with the switched off compressor.
The device is exclusively intended for the application
or spraying of solvent-based and water-dilatable
paints, glazes, primers, varnishes, vehicle varnish,
mordants, wood preservatives, plant protection
agents, oils and disinfectants. Do not use the de-
vice to process emulsion or latex paints, lye, acidic
spray materials or anti-spray or anti-run materials.
Any further use of or changes to the device are
considered improper use and could entail consider-
able damages. We do not assume any liability for
damage arising from improper use. This device is
solely intended for private use.

Screw the gravity flow cup
tank in a clockwise direction.
Screw the mini paint spray pistol onto the air
pressure hose.
Unscrew the lid of the paint container from the
mini paint spray gun and fill this with thinned
airbrush paint. Ensure that the paint is not to
thick to prevent it from clogging up the gun.
Replace the lid.
Pull the trigger to spray. You can adjust the jet
by turning the nozzle.
Clean the device after spraying.

HVLP properties

This device uses an HVLP system (High Volume Low
Pressure). It provides a more efficient application of
(paint)
materials with a lower consumption.
IMPORTANT: do not exceed the operating pres-
sure of a maximum of 3 bar.

NOTE
Be sure you have the correct operating pres-
sure. Excessive operating pressure leads to finer
dispersion and has the result that liquids evap-
orate too quickly. The surfaces become rough
and develop poor adhesion properties. If the
operating pressure is too low on the other hand,
the paint material is not sufficiently atomised.
Undulating surfaces and the formation of drops
are the result.

Preparing the spraying surface

The area surrounding the area to be sprayed
should be thoroughly and liberally covered.
Otherwise all non-covered areas or surfaces
may become soiled.
Make sure that the spraying surface is clean,
dry and free of grease.
Roughen smooth surfaces (e.g. with sandpaper)
and then remove the dust created.

on and off
Working Instructions:
When thinning, ensure that the spray material
and the thinner are compatible. If you use the
wrong thinner, clumps can be created and the
gun can become clogged.
Screw the gravity flow cup
clockwise direction.
Fill the gravity flow cup
material and screw the lid tight.
Always hold the paint spray gun at the same
distance from the object. The ideal spraying
distance is approximately 15 cm.
Perform a trial to determine the suitable
settings.
Do not turn the device on / off over the area to
be sprayed, but rather begin and end the
spraying procedure approx. 10 cm outside the
area to be sprayed.
