OPTIONAL CONNECTION FOR USE WITH THE
AUTOPILOT PX1 DIGITAL LIGHTING CONTROLLER
LOW VOLTAGE TRIGGER
To the left of the trigger terminal block is a loop of wire labeled TRIGGER, which is factory installed.
Removing this wire and connecting the two terminals to a set of dry relay contacts, like those used on
the Autopilot PX1, allows you to control the APCL4DX/APCL8DX with your PX1 Lighting Controller.
NOTE: In order for this unit to work with the PX1 Digital Lighting Controller, the 120V trigger cable
must be plugged into a 120V power source at all times.
The low voltage connection is only 5 Volts, and is suitable for connection to the PX1 controller. Short
the two terminals together, and the APCL4DX/APCL8DX turns on. Open that loop, and the APCL4DX/
APCL8DX turns off.
