Connection of the PhaseBalancer

Lack of function due to missing setting!

Adjust Phase Balancer settings within 4 hours after
startup of inverter (see 6.1 Change settings).
Setting at a later time is not longer possible.
Caution
To use the PhaseBalancer, a connection of the power inverters via the
RS 232 interface is necessary. The connection takes place using the
connection cable that was included in the delivery of the
PhaseBalancer.
The length of the connection cable is 2 m.
 During installation, select the distance between the inverters of a
group in such a way the the length of the balancer cable is
sufficient.

Connect PhaseBalancer as follows:
 Disconnect the mains voltage of the inverters.
 Connect plug connector 1 to the connection of the RS 232
interface of the middle inverter.
 Screw plug connector in tightly.
 Connect plug connector 2 and 3 to the RS 232 interfaces of the
inverters of the two other phases.
t The allocation of the plug connectors 2 and 3 to the inverters
is arbitrary.
 Screw plug connector in tightly.
To avoid damage to the PhaseBalancer and inverters:
 Provide sufficient stress relief for the connection cable.
