MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Unit
Clean the unit with a clean, lint free cloth moistened with water
and mild antibacterial soap. If a more sterile cleaning is needed,
use a cloth moistened with an antimicrobial cleaner.
Do not submerse the unit in water. Should the unit accidentally
become submersed, remove the batteries, wrap the unit in a
towel and drain as much water from the unit as possible. Set the
unit upright on the towel and allow to air dry for at least 12 hrs in
an area with low humidity.
Do not attempt any use of the unit until it is completely dry of all
internal moisture. Any attempted use of a unit that may be wet
inside could result in damage to the internal components of the
unit.
Long Term Storage
If unit is to be stored or not used for 30 days or longer, remove the
batteries.
Factory Service
When the VitalStim Therapy unit requires factory service, contact the
selling dealer or Chattanooga Group Service Department.
All units returned to the factory for service must include the following:
