Putting into operation

When operating the appliance for the first time, do not leave it unattended until it has
reached a steady state.
Connecting the appliance
Caution:
For connection, please observe the national regulations. Observe the connection and
performance data (see type plate and technical data). Make sure to establish a safe PE
conductor connection.
Place the power cable so that
►
it is easily accessible at all times and can be pulled off quickly, for example in case of inter-
ference or an emergency;
►
it does not represent a trip hazard;
►
it cannot come into contact with any hot parts.
230/115 V appliances:
Plug the provided power
cable into the rear of the
appliance and connect it to a
CEE 7/4 socket.
Switching on
Switch the appliance on by pressing the main switch on
the front of the appliance.
400 V appliances:
The power cable is perma-
nently installed. Connect the
plug to a 400 V CEE coupling
3 x 208 V appliances:
The power cable is perma-
nently installed. Connect the
plug to a 3 x 208 V~ /20 A
socket (NEMA L15-20R)
