Before Testing
Checking the Display
Each time you insert a test strip the meter displays
"CH" and "
", which means the meter is
running a series of self-checks. If no problems are
found, the meter proceeds to the next step.
For PRODIGY Audio only, you will hear this
voice message: " The code number is (number)."
Calibration
Note: PRODIGY Autocode meters do not
require calibration. If you are using either of the
PRODIGY Autocode meters, skip this section.
If you are using PRODIGY Advance or
PRODIGY Audio, you will need to

calibrate the meter when you first use it or
when you begin using a new vial of test strips.
To calibrate the Meter, press the Code
Button, and follow these Steps:

To Calibrate When the Meter is Off,
Press the Code Button.
The screen displays "Code" and "SEL" ,
and then a flashing code number. Press the
Code Button and repeat until the code num-
ber on the Meter matches the Code Number

M button to set the code. "

then appear, which indicate that calibration
is completed and the meter is turned off.
