Using the focus screw of the collector lens

the paper. The light spot must be brighter

Using the focusing screw of the collector
lens ① enlarge the image until a
homogeneous illumination is achieved.
(Fig.46). At this point, insert an objective
into the optical path and, looking into
the eyepieces, optimize the illumination
always using the screws ① and ②.

After replacing the exhausted bulb, reset
the time counter on the power supply by
pressing the "Reset" button ①. (Fig.47)
