RT
1) Positioning: suspend the grab in its open position by its
ring (1) (locking pawl (2) activated).
2) For lifting: present the grab vertically to the product to be
lifted.
3) Lower the lifting beam and grab assembly until the grabs
are applied against the product to be lifted.
4) Swivel the locking pawl (2) manually whilst starting off the
lifting operation, keep them in the up position to prevent
then from locking onto their fastening screw (3).
5) Release the locking pawls (2) of each grab making sure
that the claw is well above the fastening screw (3) then
perform lifting.
6) When laying down, lower the lifting beam and grab
assembly until the locking pawls are automatically locked (2) onto the fastening screw
(3).
7) The grabs are locked in the open position, the lifting beam and grab assembly can be
lifted up ready to be used again.
TI
Semi-automatic TI:
1) Positioning: suspend the grab in its open position by its ring (1) (locking pawl (2)
activated).
2) For lifting: present the grab vertically to the product to be lifted.
3) Lower the grab until it is applied against the product to be lifted.
4) Swivel the locking pawl (2) manually whilst starting off the lifting, hold it in the up position
to prevent it from locking against the fastening screw (3).
5) Release the locking pawl (2) making sure its claw is well above the fastening screw (3)
and perform lifting.
6) When laying the product down, bring down the grab until the locking pawl automatically
locks (2) onto the fastening screw (3).
7) The grab is locked in the open position. It can be lifted up again ready to be used again.
Automatic TI:
1) Positioning: suspend the grab in the open position by its ring (1) (control lever (4)
activated).
2) For lifting: position the grab vertically with respect to the product to be lifted.
3) Lower the grab until it is applied against the product to be lifted.
4) Next lift the grab back up: its automatic system unlocks. Lifting can be performed.
5) When laying the product down, lower the grab until the locking system is automatically
activated (4+5).
6) The grab is then locked in the open position: it can be lifted up ready to be used again.
