Installing Main Unit
1 Lock position
The main unit slides forward and the unit posi-
tion is locked.
28 Secure the power cable.
Attach the double-sided tape to the connection
box of the power cable, and then attach the con-
nection box to a location where the cable can be
secured firmly.

! Never install the power cable in a location
where the cable cannot be secured due to ve-
hicle vibration, etc.

! If the cable cannot be secured with the sup-
plied double-sided tape, secure it firmly using
commercially available double-sided tape,
etc.
! Firmly secure an iPhone or Android device in
a holder commercially available.
! Insert the cigarette plug of the power cable
into the cigarette socket on the vehicle with
the LED indicator face-up so that the driver
can see it.
The LED indicator on the cigarette plug lights
green if the power is turned on.

29 Remove the combiner protection sheet.
Check that the power cable is connected and
routed correctly, and then remove the combiner
protection sheet.
After installation
CAUTION
! Check if the unit is installed correctly. In the
following cases, return to step 1 and install
the unit correctly.

1 The lock plates are not fixed.
2 The unit is not secured with a fall preven-
tion belt.
3 The unit is installed obliquely.
4 Position of the unit is installed reversed.
! Close the diffuser when not using the unit.
! When removing the unit from the sun visor
and storing it, be sure to close the diffuser
and combiner.
Do not leave the unit in places exposed to di-
rect sunlight, such as on a dashboard. The
diffuser or combiner may concentrate light
into an intense beam, causing smoke or fire.
Connecting the power cable
to the cigarette socket
% Firmly connect the cigarette plug of the
power cable by inserting it into the cigarette
socket on the vehicle.
The LED indicator on the cigarette plug lights
green if the power is turned on.

Notes
! Insert the cigarette plug of the power cable
into the cigarette socket on the vehicle with
the LED indicator face-up so that the driver
can see it.
! If the LED indicator does not turn off when
the vehicle engine is turned off, disconnect
the power cable from the cigarette socket on
the vehicle. Failure to do so will drain the ve-
hicle battery.
