How to get started
Start by locating the footings and check that the necessary
space, including the safety zone, is available.
Safety zone plan is present in the Product Guide.
Place two tape measures in a cross in the area where the
system is to be installed.
Use the plan drawing in the Product Guide to locate the point
where the two tape measures have to cross.
In the drawing the point is indicated where line X and line Y
cross. Make sure that the two tape measures are perpendicular.
Measure out the center points indicated for the foundations for the entire system. Mark these points with
pegs, screwdrivers or similar. Then check that the safety zone around the entire system has been complied with. The
safety zone is indicated by a dotted line around the system on the plan drawing.
The plan drawing shows a hatched area with a number (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc.) at each of the marked center points. The
hatched area indicates the size of the foundation plate.
Each hatched area is numbered, and the number refers to a drawing showing the size and depth of the hole and the
amount of concrete to be used. The drawings are on the last page in the Product Guide
If mechanical digging is used, it is a good idea to combine
several foundation holes in a single excavation.
Make sure that the ends of line X and line Y have been
marked before removing the tape measures to allow digging.
It is important to be able to check and make sure that the
system is positioned correctly throughout installation.
