Special safety instructions

Check that the motor's vent holes are not
blocked.
Never stop the saw blade by pressing against
the saw, or by applying pressure to the side
of the saw blade.
Always use the correct type of saw blade
for the job at hand. This saw is designed for
sawing wood. Never use bent saw blades or
saw blades that have teeth missing.
Never use saw blades that are too large or
too small.
Never use saw blades whose maximum
speed is less than the saw's maximum RPM.
Check that the direction indicated on the
saw blade matches the direction of rotation
of the motor. The saw blade teeth must point
downwards towards the saw bench on the
front of the saw.
Always wear protective gloves when
handling the blade. Never put your hand
under the mitre saw or try to remove
material from the working area while the
blade is rotating.
Never place your ngers or hand on the item
being cut in front of, behind or under the
mitre saw while it is running.
Never saw more than one item at a time.
Use extra supports (table, trestle or similar)
for long items so they do not tip off the
workbench during sawing.
Do not saw items that are so small they
cannot be securely clamped.
