0 = No remote control / 1 = FUTURE remote control / 2 = remote control compatible
with Philips Rc05 protocol** / 3 = remote control compatible with Sony SIRCS
protocol**.
** In this type of remote control, the + / - Volume keys will be used to control the
temperature and the + / - Channel keys to turn the emitter on and off.
- Configuration for automatic disconnection in the case of a sharp temperature
decrease (Cold). If the emitter detects a sharp fall in temperature (5 ºC or more) for
one minute, it will disconnect to avoid power consumption (for example, in the case of
open windows or doors to air the room). "ALM COLD" (cold alarm) will appear on the
display. 0 = deactivated/1 = activated.
- Reset function (restarting the equipment). In the case of anomalous operating of
the equipment, the Reset function deletes all the programmes and parameters
defined by the user, resets the clock to zero hours and establishes the temperature at
20ºC. Only the default programmes (P1 to P9) will remain stored in the memory.
Use the MODE key to validate all the configuration options and exit the SETUP menu.
Remote Control.
The controls and design of the FUTURE remote control are the same as those of the
emitter, making its handling easier. The different menus are accessed by pressing the
MODE key. The emitter will confirm the reception and execution of the order by means
of a "beep".
- Auto: MANUAL mode can be accessed from this menu (using keys + and -). The
temperature can be modified by pressing again. The emitter will "beep" to confirm the
order. To return to AUTO mode press MODE.
- Clock
: The clock is programmed in exactly the same way as that of the emitter.
The emitter will "beep" to confirm the order.
P
- Programming
: Similarly to the emitter, the programming for any day of the week
may be queried and 4 user programmes may be defined (U1 to U4).
- Send programming : Symbol will light up when this menu is selected. Select user
programme (U1 to U4) with key + and send it to the emitter with key -. A long "beep" will
confirm the order is received correctly.
- Holiday
: In the same way as for the emitter, you may programme the days in
which you want the emitter to remain in holiday mode.
- Setup: The configuration menu is accessed by pressing the MODE key for 5''.
The temperature unit (ºC or ºF), keyboard locking and the type of lighting can be
modified in the same way as in the emitter (with keys + and -).
