1) Measuring the ear temperature
• Remove the protective cap (Fig. 7)
• Make sure that both the sensor and ear canal are clean. As
the ear canal curves slightly, before introducing the sensor into
the ear, lift the outer ear slightly so that the sensor comes into
direct contact with the eardrum (Fig. 6).
• Press the "

mometer very carefully and without applying pressure.
• Press " " for one second. Once the measurement has been
taken, a short tone will sound and the value measured will ap-
pear on the display (Fig. 8).
Note: If you do not hear the tone, the measurement has not yet
been completed. Do not remove the thermometer probe from
the ear canal yet. (No tone will be heard if the sound function has
been disabled).
