11.2.3 Humidifier

Functions only with municipal water, and not with demineralised or softened water.
The humidifier with immersed electrodes has a card mounted inside the box to relay all information relating to the humidifier
directly to the CCU CONTROLLER. It adapts, within the allowable operating limits, to the physical and chemical properties of the
water used. Voltage is applied to the immersed electrodes, and an electrical current passes between them, heating the water to
boiling point. The water acts as an electrical resistor, ensuring continuity between the electrodes with a minimum of dissolved
salts.
(The water must have a conductivity of between 350 μS/cm and 125 μS/cm.)
