6. Tighten the clamping nut with the pin
wrench.
Test run
1. Connect the tool to a power source.
2. Switch on the angle grinder with the
switch (without engaging it) and run the
angle grinder for approx. 30 seconds.
Check for imbalances and vibrations.
3. Switch off the angle grinder.
Operating instructions
NOTE
When the angle grinder is switched off, the
grinding tool will continue running briefly.
Adjusting the guard
WARNING
When using the angle grinder for roughing
or cutting, never work without the guard.
A special cutting guard must be used for
cutting.

for the appropriate cutting guard.
CAUTION
Risk of injury! Wear protective gloves.
1. Disconnect the tool from the power
supply.
2. Loosen the clamping lever (1.).
3. Adjust the guard (2.).
4. Retighten the clamping lever (3.).
Adjusting the switch handle
L 26-6 230 only
The switch handle can be rotated from the
middle position 90° in either direction.
1. Press the release button (1.) and simul-
taneously rotate the switch handle (2.).
2. Release the button.
Ensure that the release button is
engaged in the respective end position.
Work instructions
NOTE
When the power tool is switched off, the
grinding tool will continue running briefly.
Rough-grinding
WARNING
Never use cutting-off wheels for rough-
grinding.
– Maintain the wheel at an angle between 20°
and 40° for best cutting performance.
