Pressure Sensor Custom Calibration:
The pressure sensor comes calibrated from the factory, and if installed per the recommendations in the Pressure Sensor
Installation section, will not need to be re-calibrated . If the pressure sensor is not reading accurately calibration may be
needed . Calibration is a two-step process and involves telling the controller what the pressure is at two different known
points – a low pressure point and a high pressure point . Proper calibration will require an external calibrated pressure
sensor .
Follow these steps to calibrate the pressure sensor:
1 . Navigate to the Pressure Setup menu
2 . Use the
RED or
GREEN button to scroll through the list until the "Custom Calibration" option is highlighted. Press
the ■ ENTER button to start the calibration process .
Note: If the pressure sensor is not connected, the screen will indicate "Sensor UNAVAILABLE". Connect the sensor and
attempt calibration again .
3. The first step is to set the low pressure point. Adjust the pressure to a low pressure value. Zero can be used as the low
pressure value .
4 . Once pressure has stabilized, adjust the pressure shown on the display to match the actual pressure in the pipe by
RED or
GREEN button to adjust the pressure value up or down .
using the
5. Once the actual pressure in the system (per external pressure gauge) and the pressure shown on the screen match,
press the ■ ENTER button to save the setting .
6 . Press the ■ ENTER button again when prompted to calibrate the high pressure point .
7 . Adjust the flow in the pipe to the high pressure value . It is recommended to set the high pressure at the upper end of
expected operating pressures for best accuracy .
8 . Once pressure has stabilized, adjust the pressure shown on the display to match the actual pressure in the pipe by
RED or
GREEN button to adjust the pressure value up or down .

9. Once the actual pressure in the system (per external pressure sensor) and the pressure shown on the screen match,
press the ■ ENTER button to save the high pressure calibration value and finish the process .
Pressure Sensor Factory Calibration:
Choose this option to replace any custom calibration that may have been performed with the original calibration parame-
ters as originally shipped from the factory . Use caution when selecting this option as previous custom calibration cannot
be recovered .
If it is necessary to reset the flow calibration to the factory defaults, follow these steps:
1 . Navigate to the Pressure Setup menu
RED or
GREEN button to scroll through the list until the "Factory Calibration" is highlighted
2 . Use the
3 . Press the ■ ENTER button
4 . Press the ■ YES button to reset or press the ■ NO button to cancel
